Beaujolais Nouveau
Join us on Thursday, November 16th for our annual Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration. The Beaujolais Nouveau release is observed all around the world and is one of the most exciting events in the wine industry. We’re eager to begin our weekend-long celebration with you as we toast to the 2018 release!
Beaujolais Nouveau falls on the third Thursday of November each year. Beginning on Thursday, November 16th, the new Beaujolais will arrive at the Westlake Village Inn, where we’ll celebrate by featuring a delicious French menu to complement your glass of Beaujolais Nouveau. Enjoy a delicious crepe, French wine flights and a mesmerizing backdrop of live French jazz. The celebration will begin Thursday, November 16th and will run through Sunday, November 19th.
This tasty wine has a unique maturation process: It’s made from Gamay grapes, which are only produced in the Beaujolais region of France. The grapes are fermented for a few weeks before being released for sale. This quick fermentation process enhances the youthful taste of the wine. Unlike other wines, Beaujolais Nouveau’s taste doesn’t improve with age, so it’s produced for immediate consumption.
On Sunday, November 20th we’ll conclude the celebration with a mouth-watering crepe brunch. The menu will feature a variety of crepes as well as other traditional French favorites. We hope you’ll come out and experience this wonderful celebration with us!
