“Westlake Village Inn is a very nice place. I was there for an on-site wedding, but we made a weekend of it. Parking is easy, and free. Our late check-in was easy. The room was a nice size, and had a large flat screen tv. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was pretty good. Very good water pressure. The bath is a regular bath – nothing worth planning a trip around for a good soak. The wedding sites are very nice, and very convenient as a guest. The reception food was EXCELLENT. The property is next to a golf course with a lake, which make for nice views. The course looked fun, if not a bit busy. The beach is about a 20 minute drive (via Kanan) to the beaches near Malibu, past the wineries. Overall, nice place to stay – especially if you attend a wedding there.”
“Everyone was quite impressed with the food and Steven Caffe, which is our Sr. Vice President enjoyed his stay very much. To be frank, I continue to send my guests there and insist as often as possible to hold our off-site meetings there or dinners because I have been treated very well in the past and so has my group. As your service continues to be great I will continue to send my guests to your hotel and plan special dinners there.”
“I just wanted to this time to thank you for all that you did to make my Wedding such a wonderful experience. The comments are still flowing in about how fabulous everything was and we ALL had such a wonderful time and we have such a wonderful day to look back on. You were so wonderful on the day of the Wedding- you constantly checked in with me and the banquet staff was impeccable as well. Gabino was nice enough to take our gifts to our room for us which helped us out immensely. Thank you again for helping me make things go so completely flawless.”
“We had a great time. We took our afternoon session out on the patio and it was so nice to enjoy the patio atmosphere and be away from laptops and desks.”
“Thank you for your help. Putting this together was smooth and as easy as it possibly could be.”
“The rooms and the grounds are beautiful and are like no other hotel, inn, or bed and breakfast I’ve visited. It makes you feel like you’re in the countryside somewhere in Europe, yet it has every modern convenience…”
“Perfect Beginning to Our New Life”
My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding. I booked the room a few months before the wedding, and Josh, the front office manager, was very helpful in selecting the best room for our wedding night. Jenny, the hotel supervisor was wonderful and courteous in answering all my questions upon my arrival. Setarah, an employees at the hotel suggested for us to have brunch at the hotel restaurant, Mediterraneo, it couldn’t have been a better choice. The chef’s omelet was a great selection. Our stay was outstanding, from the beautiful room, to the wonderful staff. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Everything was perfection. The food was first rate – not overcooked or undercooked. It was as delicious as the tasting. We also received several compliments from family and friends about the bartenders. They did a fantastic job. We feel completely satisfied with everything and could not have asked for a better wedding weekend! Thank you!”
“We wanted to thank you for your help in making Melina’s baptismal reception a lovely day. The food portions were generous and tasty. All our guests enjoyed the location and the room. We received numerous compliments. The service was excellent. We’ll think of you again for future events!”
“Everything was perfect. Even though it was raining it worked out beautifully. The location was great – the food was great. I really appreciate all your help, everyone said how great the wedding and reception were and a few even told me it was the best wedding they had ever been to. So, thank you so much for all your help. I really appreciate it. It was great!!!”
“My husband and I had a wonderful experience yesterday and Friday. We stayed in the Ronald Reagan Suite and then toured the Library & Museum. Everything worked well for us and lived up to what was promised by your package deal. We arrived around 2:00 p.m. Friday, checked in and went to the room where music greeted us and a chilled, lovely bottle of fancy lemonade awaited us. The reading material helped prepare us for the tour. Thank you! I can highly recommend Westlake Village Inn. ”
“The Westlake Village Inn is dedicated to perfection in every aspect of the hospitality industry. When one of our executives or an out-of-town guest needs a room, I always check their availability first. Even though it’s a smaller hotel, our guests prefer to stay here. They love the special attention that they receive and every room has a special ambiance about it, whether it’s overlooking the lake with swans or the amazing pathways of rose-filled gardens and archways.
The business traveler can really appreciate this relaxing atmosphere. Their banquet rooms are also very special, unlike rooms that are completely closed in, these rooms also overlook the lake and golf course. My favorite is the Lakeside Room that offers an attached patio for an outdoor lunch. It’s a nice break for the executives to relax in this impressionistic setting before resuming to their meeting.
Another main feature of the hotel is Mediterraneo. This amazing restaurant is available for both lunch and dinner and has a separate more intimate room for larger groups. One of my most memorable dinners there was when I arranged an early dinner for a group of twenty. I requested to have our group set up on the side patio. With the strings of lights hanging above and views through the garden and lake, it gave way to a feeling of a lovely Parisian night. After dinner, the group took a short walk through the pathway to Bogies. Their nightclub offers live entertainment and an outside bar for socializing. I have to say, the Westlake Village Inn has everything you’ll ever need whether traveling for business or for a nice get-a-way.”
Very Pretty
“We stayed at the Westlake Village Inn the night of our Honeymoon because we were married close by. We stayed in a suite and it was perfect. We didn’t get there until around midnight and left at around 9 am but the short time we were there was lovely. My thoughts are as follows: The grounds: Gorgeous! We learned of it after we attended a wedding there. It was unfortunately booked for the day of our wedding but I knew I wanted to stay here before we took off for Hawaii. The place is huge and they have ponds, luscious flowers, green crisp grass, waterfalls, fountains and golf! It has everything. Being from the area, I would say that it offers all the beauty of Westlake in one place. The room: Very pretty and quaint. The bed was comfortable and there was a cute sofa and electric fireplace. It was a very reasonable price for the suite and well worth it. The bathroom was huge and had a gorgeous whirlpool soaking tub with marble and premium bath soaps. It was very relaxing. The service: We weren’t there very long to experience the service… but the maintenance and housekeeping staff must be terrific because everything is pristine. The front desk workers were also very accommodating. Overall I would recommend this place as a beautiful gem with outstanding everything.”
Affordable Romantic Getaway
Overall Rating:***** Five Stars out of Five
“Perfect affordable romantic getaway – wanted to get away from the kids and stress and not go too far. An hour from downtown but we felt like we were in Europe – gardens, flowers Great restaurant too – Mediterranean we had brunch on the patio overlooking the lake and fountain. And a cool nightclub all within walking distance. We danced!! We’ll be back.”
My wife and I stayed here with a large group, as one of our dear friends’ daughter was getting married at the hotel. I have to admit, I almost booked the Four Seasons (I couldn’t believe the rate) but I had heard that the hotel was not a typical four seasons but rather a very business-oriented type of place. Boy was I glad we chose to stay at the Inn. It’s like this hidden gem, right on the golf course with a private lake..almost looks like a small Bacara in Santa Barbara. The rooms are huge (We were upgraded to a mini-suite with fireplace – Josh at the front desk informed us that they have mostly suites at the hotel, so upgrades happen quite often. They should market this unique feature better. The views are gorgeous, there are gardens and ceremony sites and waterfall and fountains everywhere. I could have been anywhere in Europe. The true gem was our friends’ wedding planner- Geenie. She was incredible. Always moving around checking on everyone, so sincere and kind. She made us feel like she was planning her own wedding with all of the details and effort she gave. She and the amazing banquet team should be applauded for making the dreams of brides and grooms come true, I’m assuming pretty regularly- with such ease and grace. Bravo to a well done job! I will return for sure in the future.
Our Sales Awards Dinner was wonderful! The staff provided excellent service and everyone commented on how nice the room looked. David and I were very pleased with the way you managed to separate the bar area.
At the last minute, our projector did not operate properly and without a hitch, we were taken care of. (I do appreciate the discount you gave us on that.)
Each time we have an event hosted by the Westlake Village Inn Catering staff, I am thrilled. They are so professional and we hardly knew they were they while swapping out salad plates for the dinner plates. The food was delicious and the wine was excellent. It all made for a very meaningful evening as we recognized our sales team for their efforts in 2009. We’re still talking about what a great evening it was!
Thank you so much for helping to accommodate us at the last minute. All the best to you and your staff in the upcoming year!
Thank you soooooo much!! We absolutely loved our suite this weekend! And the bottle of red wine was a very special treat (and it was super delicious too!). We’re definitely going to do this again….we loved walking everywhere… golf, movies, farmers market, the lake, etc. The brunch at Mediteraneo was yummy and Bogie’s was a fun place to hang out and watch the football games. We really loved our “staycation” and plan on doing it again (sooner than later). And the holiday decorations in the lobby and around the property were so beautiful and added just the right touch of holiday cheer! Thanks to the staff for helping to make our weekend so very memorable.
“Beautiful Place”
I was here to attend a conference organised by one of my customers, located in WLV, and the hotel location was therefore absolutely convenient: a few blocks away from my customer’s facilities – to hold the meeting – and the conference was held the next day in the hotel, at the lake side.
The hotel lobby is absolutely beautiful, like entering an Italian villa. The rooms are spead over different buildings and you can drive to the building and park in front of it. The buildings all have names referring to names in the Meditteranean. I was staying in TUSCANY. Beautiful room overlooking gardens. The rooms are spacious, have large tv, coffee maker and safe, iron & board, work desk, internet access, outside terrace and comfortable beds. Access with your room key card to the swimming pool and small gym. Their restaurant Mediterraneo is very nice.
It has been vastly improved with spacious rooms and excellent facilities, breakfast was included and found to be acceptable. There are also great golf/tennis facilities on the doorstep and it has good access to the freeways. If you fly into LAX and are heading north it is 45 mins on a good day up the 101, and well worth getting out of the city for your first night at least.
I stayed here for 2 nights for my friend’s wedding (she got married here) and had a wonderful experience. Right from the start, everyone was extremely nice and professional at the same time. We got a regular room which was fairly big with a nice view of the courtyard from our balcony. The rooms are VERY clean and adorable. It was a very cozy experience. This does look like an older hotel but it was extremely beautiful. They offer free wireless internet which is always nice. My friends were staying the suites for their wedding and both of the suites were incredible! It was VERY spacious with a walk in closet in one of the suites. I would definitely stay here again if I have another reason to come to the area. Also, my friend’s wedding was incredibly beautiful! Great place to celebrate the most special day of your life!
If you are having a wedding here, make sure you get Dana as your coordinator. She is absolutely the BEST. Our wedding went without a hitch. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious and our guests were impressed. EVERYONE kept telling us how great of a wedding it was and how the food was delicious. We partied all night long, and our suites…OMG…don’t have words for it. So romantic and perfect.
“We love LOVE love the Westlake Village Inn, it is one of our favorite venues. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking! You truly feel like you’re stepping into a countryside somewhere in Europe…”
“Obviously beautiful, yet amazingly hospitable and quaint. I have stayed at the Westlake Village Inn consistently for the past 6 years and have never had a more enjoyable and comfortable experience away from home. Besides the fact that the ambience is stunning and sophisticated, the service is reliable, timely, and professional. I recommend this location for all of your outdoor engagements and overnight stays.”
“We just had theeeeee nicest dinner at Mediterraneo! We met for dinner after the boys played a round of golf. The food was the best I ever had there. Rudy had 2 glasses of the GI Justin red & both boys had the special penne and caesar salad (best they ever tasted); I had the tricolore sald w/blue cheese (yum!) and the salmon was the best I’d ever had! Also loved the Israeli couscous w/corn. Deeee-LISH! Topped it off with coffee & the apple crisp (best ever)! But all of that was absolutely outdone by Kathryn & the wait staff. Best service I’ve ever had there, and the place was busy. She earned her more than 20% tip!
Thanks for creating such a beautiful place for us to hang… :-)”
“My husband Robb and I spent our Honeymoon night here a little over 2 years ago. We were in the Ronald Reagan Suite and we loved it!”
“I wanted to thank you and all the staff once again for the wonderful hospitality you all showed at our event.”
My boyfriend and I were determined to find a great hotel with an outdoor pool to sunbathe before the summer was officially over and escape the LA city traffic for the day. We didn’t want to travel too far but go to a place where it was far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Westlake Village surpassed our wildest imaginations. There were no king beds available but we were given an upgrade at a very reasonable price. The room was beautiful with a fireplace overlooking the scenic golf course. Josh, the front desk manager greeted us and made sure we were made to feel welcome and Sam, the outdoor pool bartender was very friendly and professional. There were well manicured gardens all around the rooms and white lights for the evening which created a feeling of elegance and refinement. It was a truly romantic experience and definitely a place we would return.
I first have to say how impressed I am with this property. I have worked in the hotel industry when I lived in the mid west and I thought have seen it all but this property is LA’s best kept secret. When I made the reservation I spoke with a Stacy, I told her I have never stayed at the hotel before so what does she have to offer me. She got me a great deal on a Junior mini suite. Sounded good and the price was amazing. I paid $180 for a suite with a fire place & a Jacuzzi tub. She told me about the treatment rooms and all of the extra amenities. I was really excited to get there. When I checked in there was a line out the door. At 1st i thought it was lack of service and got annoyed but they had a large wedding party all in there. Finally got checked in and the desk clerk (I think Tricia) helped me find my way to the room. It was really different when she asked if I was walking or driving. The property was a big circle and you can park in front of your building which was a nice touch. All of the buildings had unique names from european cities. We stayed in Capri. When we got to the room it was exactly how it was described on the phone. My girlfriend and I decided to unpack and take a walk around the property. This property has gorgeous views of a lake, a nice rose arbor, a vineyard which looked pretty new. The landscaping was so nice and every staff member who passed us greeted us with a smile. Food was fresh you have to try all of the chefs appetizers. Bogies was very interesting/entertaining. At check out the gentleman asked us how are stay was and we gave him a earful but he was very happy to hear it. Turned out he was the Manager and signed us up for the rewards program where you can get money back from your stays. We will defiantly be back to this hotel when we want to get away. I can go on and on about this hotel but I will just say if you haven’t been to the hotel check it out.
First of all, let me say what a tremendous job EVERYONE at the Westlake Village Inn did in the last couple of weeks to make our three meetings so successful.
The food quality was excellent, the event people were so accommodating, every task was handled professionally and within record-breaking time, and the meeting rooms we conducive to making everyone comfortable. Most importantly, David and I really appreciate how easy it is to work with you and your team.
We look forward to many more meetings at the Westlake Village Inn!
I traveled to Westlake Village approximately 36 weeks in 2007, always staying in your fine hotel. As I look ahead, I will be doing much the same in the coming year, and will always stay with you if you have a room. I wanted to say that I feel this way not only because of your beautiful grounds and great accommodations, but in large part because of the great people there. I have received stellar service from everyone – from the front desk to maintenance staff, and that is where a hotel really shines. Since I have become somewhat of a regular, those who I come in contact with most have called me by name, prepared my room for me ahead of time (I ask for a few special amenities), and treated me with friendly respect. It makes my stay away from home all the more easy to bear, as I feel I have a second home. I would appreciate it if the management would share my thoughts with the staff in some way – praise is deserved by all and it may brighten their day to hear it, since I mean it sincerely. …
Best hotel around!!! Even if it were more expensive it is still worth it. This was the most amazing hotel around. As soon as you walk on the property you will know what I mean. It all started when I made the reservation. A woman named Lynn helped me and made sure that I got whatever I wanted. This really made me feel good. Then two weeks after I made the reservation it was time to come and stay here. The front desk personelle were great. The man whom helped me was Josh, and he was so friendly. He made sure that I was going to have the best weekend and the best stay that you could possibly have. After I got everything all set up with my room, and I tasted the delicious Vanilla latte from their amazing coffee maker, it was time to take my 4 bags to my room. A gentlemen named Alec was there to assist me with the luggage. Not only was he very friendly, but he made me feel like I was important by asking me where I was coming in from and how my travels were so far. After he lugged all my bags up the stairs (there is no elevator, only bad thing) he was able to get me ice for my ice bucket and also retrieved for me a menu from the restaurant Mediteraneo. He was very helpful along with the rest of the staff. I enjoyed my stay so much, there were no problems with the room at all. I had a beautiful room looking out onto the man-made lake. The rest of my stay was just as wonderful, and check out was easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone that needs to stay in this area, because not only is it nicer than all the others, but is cheaper!
Everything went very well. We loved the room & the food/service was, as always – top-notch. The meetings were productive & I’ve got several requests to hold the next session of the Leadership Development Program here again (sometime in September). Thank you again for everything & for being so patient with our last minute requests.
